Savoy Truffle

The Beatles***George with such an adroit cut from all angles. Showing how his creativity was becoming a Juggernaut at this point in the game ; From the double "White Album".

This song has for so long gone under-rated, as it happens, to be a complete 3:00 minute gem.

This song is delicious. If any band of "today" could come up with a with a box of musical chocolate like this...I'll swear of chocolates.

Godspeed... George...We love you so much ; It will be an honor to meet you on another dimension/planet in the future journey through infinity by way of immortality.

Even non-believers should have a listen to this piece of ear candy...*

Long...Long...Long

The Beatles***George Harrison with a lovely melancholy & ethereal song. A soul unlike all others, shines so bright in the heart, as to be blinding. We love him forever...

A wonderful vocalist & composer. A fantastic guitarist, who had the ability to pick when not to play & that is the secret of music on many levels. When to not play & pick the right spots, versus play all over the place & mucking everything up. Believe me, I've been there.

Just coming in to his own. It was not an easy task, with partners like Lennon/McCartney ; But without George, there would be no Beatles. Om...*

Me & My Monkey

The Beatles***Everbody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me & My Monkey* Coming in at about 2:25 from the double-album refereed to as The White Album.

A song from John, A really nice & shall I say somewhat fun tune...; As for the lyrics I'll take a fifth amendment on that topic, as far as who or what the monkey is. Leave it at that. But this tune sounds a bit better than the "Cold Turkey" single, later on.

It's probably my own subjective thought, not really worth mentioning, but I will. Have you ever noticed that John's appearance at certain times, looks very different than other times. I guess it's to do with one's mood & diet. Leave it there.

But What Do I Know Anyway...*

Julia

The Beatles***John solo around 2:55 ; Acoustic guitars & vocals. Enchanting song about Mr. Lennon's mother, who died when he was seventeen ; I believe he saw the accident ; Hit by a drunk off duty British police officer.

John didn't do a lot of solo material like this in the studio as Paul did repeatedly. Why...I have no idea. But he could easily knock them off one after another ; with his voice & a guitar or a piano.

Brilliance is easy to spot...*
